This announcement comes with mixed feelings as we announce the retirement of a valued team member and one of Blue Diamond’s original partners. Bo Vogt has been a driver of Blue Diamond’s market revenue growth for eighteen years, and he has decided that the time has come to retire.
Bo began his journey with us eighteen years ago in April 2002, when Bo with his partners formed Blue Diamond Industries with the purchase of Middlesboro, KY plastic pipe division of Moore DP. Bo’s successful sales leadership filled with energy, passion and a strong competitive drive has helped make Blue Diamond Industries a premier conduit manufacturer in the United States. In early 2018, Bo and his partners sold Blue Diamond Industries to the Hexatronic Group.
With the Hexatronic ownership, Bo continued to drive the expansion of sales while also providing operational support and guidance with the Aubrey, Texas site expansion. Additionally, he has helped train several team members, passing his vast knowledge onto other employees. Bo has contributed eighteen years of experience to this company, and his achievements will not be forgotten.
If Bo puts as much effort into enjoying retirement as he did with Blue Diamond Industries, it surely will be a success!
